Entertainment Editor Gordon Barr chats to The Australian Pink Floyd bassist Colin Wilson ahead of the tribute band’s gig at Newcastle City Hall later this month
When The Australian Pink Floyd take to the stage of Newcastle City Hall, part of the setlist could have been chosen by YOU.
The tribute band, which plays the venue on February 24, is allowing the audience to choose the material that the group plays in certain sections of the show.
“For years we’ve been getting emails and letters from people asking for particular songs and we have always thought, because we are a tribute band and we are trying to do a show that is going to please the most possible people, it would be a more accurate idea of what the audience want,” explains bassist Colin Wilson.
